Achieving Greater Efficiency in Retrofits Using Parallel Sensorless Pump Control

Parallel pumping is a common design in HVAC systems. To combine the advantages of parallel pumping with intelligent variable speed technology, Armstrong now offers Design Envelope Parallel Sensorless™ pump control. This new control technology can be added to any Design Envelope Vertical In-Line or dualARM pump, to provide advanced, variable flow, parallel pumping.

The Parallel Sensorless Pump Controller (PSPC) controls up to 4 Design Envelope pumps, adjusting speed for optimal energy efficiency and sequencing the units for even distribution of operating hours. The controller measures only 5″x7″, so it mounts conveniently on Design Envelope pumps.

The Armstrong PSPC Solution adds value to an HVAC system with features such as:

  • Advanced control to optimize up to four Design Envelope pumps
  • True best efficiency staging
  • Easy transfer of the PSPC from one pump to another

Armstrong is hosting a webinar to present and explain Parallel Sensorless Pump Control and outline the energy savings available. It will be held Friday June 27th at 11:00AM Eastern.
